Yes. Generations of Hope Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors will receive a receipt for their records following their contribution.
Donations help support families affected by ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases through resources, guidance, care support advocacy, and community assistance programs.
Your gifts directly fund our core mission in Northern Maine, providing resources, professional guidance, and emergency financial assistance to families navigating ALS and neurodegenerative diseases.
Our mission focuses on supporting individuals and families in Northern Maine affected by ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases. If you live outside of Northern Maine, we still encourage you to reach out, and we will do our best to connect you with helpful resources and organizations in your area.
When making your donation online, please include the name of the person you are honoring or remembering in the donation note. If you would like to share an online tribute for your loved one, please visit our Memorial Page to submit a tribute.
If you would like an acknowledgement sent to their family, please contact us through our contact form (or email generationsofhopemaine@gmail.com ) and include the donation amount along with the recipient’s name and mailing address. For donations made by mail, please include this information with your donation.
For online gifts, an email receipt is generated immediately. For donations made by mail, a formal acknowledgement letter within 7-10 business days for your tax records.
Recurring donations can be updated or canceled at any time through your PayPal account. If you need additional assistance, please contact us through our contact form or by emailing generationsofhopemaine@gmail.com
